Editorial standards

Peer review process

Every abstract and paper submitted to ICAIDSET 2026 goes through the same steps. You can follow your submission with the paper ID in your confirmation email.

  1. Similarity check

The text is checked with plagiarism detection software. Papers with too much overlap are returned to the author for changes.

  2. Review by two reviewers

Two internal or external IASTEM reviewers assess originality, relevance to the conference theme, method and clarity.

  3. Decision within 3 working days

You receive one of three decisions by email: accepted, accepted with changes, or not accepted, with the reviewers' comments.

  4. Registration and final paper

Accepted authors register for the conference and send the camera-ready paper in the conference template.

  5. Presentation and proceedings

Registered papers are presented in person or online and published in the proceedings with an ISBN and a Crossref DOI.

  6. Journal review (optional)

Papers extended by at least 20% can be sent to a partner journal, which runs its own review 25–60 days after the conference and makes the final decision.

Publication note: conference acceptance does not guarantee journal publication. Journal review, acceptance, fees and indexing are decided by the journal. Full review process
